Is their any reason behind what color thong a girl is wearing?

i always just grab the top one out of my panty drawer. The other day though I noticed that the receptionist at my orthodontist's office was wearing a black thong with black pants a black shirt and im not sure what color bra but im guessing black as well. Im not lesbo, it was soooo noticable. Do you all plan what color thongs you are going to wear how do you choose?
