Gonna go to the beach in a thong swimsuit?

I'm going to the beach this week with some friends and I think I'm gonna wear a thong bathing suit. I already looked it up and they approve of them. I'm 15 and my friends all think I should wear it and boys would love it. What do you think? Why is it inappropriate? It's not like I'm going completely naked.

5. If you have a nice body a bikini is just fine to show it off, imo thongs is crossing the line between sexy and distasteful. Thongs are for attention whores. And maybe you noticed, but people who feel confident about their body don't feel the need to go over the top.
